Bobbin Tension Meter
This guage is used to help you check/set the tension on the thread in your bobbin case. The higher the number on the meter, the tighter the tension on your bobbin thread. Typically, on a vintage sewing machine bobbin case, you would be looking for 18-25 grams of pull on the thread.
When sewing, thread thickness can vary and that can affect your bobbin tension. This is a great aid in adjusting your bobbin tension on your sewing machine.
