BioGaia® Gastrus® is a dietary supplement containing the patented lactic acid bacterium blend Limosilactobacillus** reuteri Gastrus® (L. reuteri DSM 17938 and L. reuteri ATCC PTA 6475) that helps the good microorganisms keep a natural balance in the stomach & the gut.
Because both strains in L. reuteri Gastrus naturally colonize humans they have a strong adaptation to persist and interact with humans. L. reuteri Gastrus has been tested in clinical studies and proven effective and safe.
