Tell her she's special with this Lemon Gold Leaf Glass Ornament. The design is Lemon Gold Leaf water gilded, the design has been inscribed by hand. With a  ribbon for hanging on a tree or anywhere you would like.

 The Mirror Reflective Quality of the gilding, makes this item very difficult to photograph.  I've tried to include photos showing those qualities. 

I was inspired by these lovely ladies wearing hats. The design was done with a gilded technique called Verre Eglomise. Which makes the gold leaf shine like a mirror. In the Panda Bear photo she can see herself in the gold leaf. If you have seen those beautiful window signs done in gold, this is a similar technique.  You can see yourself in the gold.  The gold is on the back of the glass and gelatin is used to adhere the gold to the glass. The design is meticulously inscribed into the gold. Each is individually signed by Tust Studio. 

The approximate measurement of this ornament is about 4 1/4" tall, 3" wide and about 1/8" thick.

After gilding the gold is protected with sign painters enamel the same as gold leaf windows.
