These are a set of self help, prompt and instruction cards on a red background showing the essential information needed to stop and try and work out what the person is doing, why, how to best cope with it and what are the consequences. The person may need help to use these until they are familiar with them. They are designed for the older child and adults.

The 10 cards are approximately 10 cm X 7 cm and can be purchased as flash cards, as a key ring or in a combined set of both.

They are ideal as a set to start to help your young person or adult to self regulate and stop and think about what they are doing and to enable them to communicate about how they are feeling and thinking with others that can help, thus making sure that other people recognise that they are trying and may need help. They are also great for adults with memory loss as well as those with communication difficulties.

The cards are laminated, so they can be wiped clean. All our items come packed in a re-usable folder for safe storage when not being used. We can supply in different languages, please message us for details.

The card is perfect in any setting, including schools, childminders, care homes as well as personal home use and will help all young persons or adults who have autism, special needs, learning, behavioural difficulties and communication or memory problems.

Consider eventually buying two cards so you can have one at home and one at another place which is attended regularly as consistency is very important.
