I usually wear a medium. I just tried the M on and it fits but tighter than I am comfortable with. The picture is a small on a size small mannequin. If I were to buy one for me, I would go up to the large. Bella is known for being form fitting and cut a little small. They are great shirts and will last a long time without fading or stretching.
