Offered here is a vintage 1931 complete play set from the Wolverine Supply Co. (which later became the Wolverine Toy Co.) called The Little Gardener.  Incredibly this set appears to have never been out of the box and all of the pieces are like new.  Even all of the packets of seeds are still full and in place.  There is even the original packing slip and fold out 2-sided brochure (I have one side of this pictured) advertising many of their available toys including this set (No. 180) which had an original price of one dollar.  Keep in mind this was during the Great Depression so that money was not easy to part with.  Overall the box is 19" by 13-1/2".  The little flower pots measure 2-1/8" tall and are clay.  All of the other pieces are tin with detailed painted decor.  The watering can measures 5-1/2" tall.  Although the box has wear and needs cleaned, the items inside are in great condition.  The box has edge tears and one tear near its center.  The box has dust/dirt accumulation on its exterior from sitting in attic storage for generations which I just lightly wiped with a dry towel so it certainly can be improved with further cleaning.  A beautiful set and a rare find.  Thanks for looking.  Mike.
