The previous owner "Miss Lois Fulkerson" has neatly written her name in pencil in perfect Palmer Method handwriting on one of the blank pages.

The edges of the covers are rubbed and worn, the corner tips are rounded.  The original spine is a modern replacement, as are the modern end papers.  There is some finger-soiling throughout the book, although overall the pages are clean and unmarked.  The covers have rubbing and wear, however the colors remain bright.
