16” Interactive R2-D2 by Hasbro Works Excellent Battery Operated

Here is a large R2-D2 by Hasbro. He has his cup holder “hand” but his antenna is missing( the antenna has no function other than visual difference). R2 responds with his chirps, beeps and whistles when you give him a command or ask him a question. He will dance, turn, spin, go forward, play his games and patrol. This guy even will chirp, beep and whistle back and forth with you if you make similar noises to him (nobody mentions this on the videos I've seen). Tap him lightly on the head to make him reset or give him the command to reset. I found a list of commands online to try with him and he responds wonderfully to all of them. Every video I've seen of him says that he can be a little dickens and refuse to cooperate (one of his commands is “Behave Yourself”), but this guy does pretty good at following directions. He only responds when he is not “talking”. He cannot hear your commands if he is “talking”. He is totally delightful and very entertaining. He comes with his batteries …( 4 D batteries and 4 AA batteries) . The box weighs a bit more with his batteries included but buying new batteries is a bit costly too.
