I believe this is a watercolor, based somewhat on that it is done on a Whatman’s Water Colour Sketching Board, 7-1/2 x 5-1/2 inches.  My late mother bought this in England in 1955.  It is rather faded from age.  The overall size of the frame is 11 by 9 inches.
