Hello, I am selling "Sometimes it's TURKEY - Sometimes it's FEATHERS" by Lorna Balian. This is a hardcover children's book. There was a lovely speckled egg in the nest all by itself. It was a genuine turkey egg. Mrs. Gumm picked it up and hurried home to tell her friend the cat. "We'll hatch it and feed it and let it grow plump for a fine Thanksgiving dinner. Imagine!" The wobbly turkey that emerged from the egg turned out to be quite an eater. He ate everything in sight! But neither Mrs. Gumm nor the cat complained, because Thanksgiving was coming! The great day arrived, but where was the turkey? Thanksgiving turned out to be an unusual occasion. Once again Lorna Balian does a superb job of blending text and drawings in a charming story. Fun to read or tell.
