This is a laminated A4 wall chart designed to reinforce the positive behaviour of 'Keeping quiet'. The child or young person removes a ‘well done’ card from the bottom of the chart and places it on the corresponding day that they have succeeded in maintaining the good behaviour. The reward card can be exchanged for the chosen reward either at the end of the day or after 2/3/4 well done cards are placed on the chart or at the end of the week if all 5 days are accomplished. The chart allows you the flexibility to work up from a reward everyday to one at the end of the week.

This chart is intended to help your child or young person to control their behaviour, especially within the classroom. It will encourage the child or young person to make positive choices for themselves and to help reinforce what is not accepted. This chart is part of a selection of 8 ‘I can’ charts all of which were produced to help support and encourage good behaviour in people who may find this difficult.

This chart also allows communication between the user and the carer to understand what behaviour is not suitable and gives a starting point for exploring alternative positive behaviour. It can be used alongside our emotions pack which helps identify the feelings which may give rise to the negative behaviour. We also do a pack showing both good and bad behaviour on cards and some behaviour cue cards which can also be used alongside this wall chart, as can our behaviour reward chart.

It is great for use at school or at nursery, also within care settings or hospital. The chart is clear and colourful enough to maintain the childs’ interest and be understood easily.

The chart will help all children/young people/adults who have autism/special needs/learning difficulties/memory loss. It is also ideal as an Early Learning Aid. The chart is laminated to protect it and can be wiped clean.
