I have searched and not found this doll for sale so I believe she may be rare, although I have priced her like my other American Dairy dolls.  Bridget Quinn was created by award winning artist Linda Mason for Georgetown Collection as partof the American Diary Doll Collection. She has thick, wavy red hair and a fair complexion.  Faint freckles add an irresistible charm to her slightly shy expression.  She stands 16" in her stand and is complete all the way from the tiny personal prayer book she carries and gold cross necklace she wears  to her own biographical story book. This retired doll is handcrafted of fine bisque porcelain with cloth body, carefully hand painted and issued in an edition limited to 100 firing days, serial number BQ4401. She comes artist signed and numbered with her certificate of authenticity.  All numbers match.

Against the bustling background of turn-of-the-century Boston, Bridget Cooper is about to take an important step in her young life.  A first-generation Irish-American, Bridget exemplifies the best of America's youth.  Even as a young girl, her life isn't always easy, but her family and faith sustain her.  We meet her just before she walks down the aisle for her First Communion.  Bridget is understandably proud of her beautiful First Communion dress. Richly adorned with delicate embroidered lace and ruffles at her wrists and on the yoked bodice, it is an authentic recreation in every detail.  A full tulle veil; with satin\n ribbon and floral headband complete her outfit. She also bears two important gifts from her family-a beautiful golden dross necklace and her person prayer book.

Linda Mason and Georgetown Collection work together to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.  Bridget is made of fine bisque porcelain, hand chine painted, fired and hand assembled.
