When the under rated current is on the contact of the circuit breaker remains closed. When the current exceeds the 1 amp rating the temperature rise opens the contacts and breaks the circuit. The circuit breaker will reset if the current flow is below 1 amp. If the current remains over 1 amp the circuit breaker will continue to break the circuit repeatedly until a </= 1 amp status is achieved.

For use with AC or DC circuits 

Use with 0 - 25V AC or DC circuits. Ideal for protection of intercom / cctv & most other low voltage applications where equipment needs protecting from excess current. Simply solder in series into the circuit at any convenient point. Ideal when a high output power supply is being used to power multiple low power devices.
