Thank you for viewing this listing.  The item being offered here is an artwork made from a variety of crushed genuine gemstones depicting Mickey & Minnie.  This artwork is in a wooden frame measuring about 12.5" by about 6.5."   

Over 15 years ago I bought several pieces of art made from crushed gemstones.  The man who sold me these items told me that he had made a deal with Disney Studios to have several prototypes made, each depicting a scene from various Disney movies.  These were to be sold in Disneyland shops.  The man said that this size originally cost over $400.00 wholesale to make, which would have made the retail price too expensive to be sold in the Disney shops.  I was also told that the ones he had made were the only ones ever produced, which made them very rare.  As I have not seen any others since my purchase, I believe this to be true.
