These 12V pre-wired pink 0402 SMD LEDs come ready to connect — no soldering to the LED itself required — making them the practical choice for Z scale and N scale modelers who need reliable, tiny lighting without a hot air rework station.
Each LED operates at 12V with 20mA current draw and a built-in resistor, so they connect directly to 12V DC without any external current-limiting components. The 0402 (1mm × 0.5mm) package emits pink light through a clear diffuse lens at a 110° viewing angle with 300–400 mcd of brightness. Each unit comes with approximately 15cm (6 inches) of pre-soldered wire leads, ready to route and connect.

- Z scale and N scale structure lighting — the 0402 footprint is the standard choice for 1:220 and 1:160 scale buildings, storefronts, and interior lighting where warm or colored accent light is needed

Wiring & power notes
DC power recommended: LEDs are designed for DC. Running on AC will cause flickering and reduce lifespan. If using a low-voltage AC source (model railroad transformer, DCC track voltage), convert it to DC with a MB1S bridge rectifier plus a 100µF 50V electrolytic capacitor for clean, ripple-free output.
