2007-2014 HONDA CBR600RR OEM size is 525x112 X-ring chain, 16t Ft. Sprocket, 42t Rear Sprocket
For QUICK ACCELERATION 15/43t gear ratio (quicker off the line, quicker roll on's, easier wheelies),
Request a 15 tooth front sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab.
A -1t front sprocket is the most versatile way to gear it quick, this way you can switch back to a stock 16t with the same length chain.
This quick ratio will be much quicker, but slower top speed with higher freeway cruising rpm's.
For EXTREME QUICK ACCELERATION 15/45t gear ratio (even quicker off the line, even quicker roll on's, even easier wheelies),
Request a 15t (-1t) tooth front sprocket, and a 45t (+2t) rear during check out in the "Add Message" tab.
A -1t front sprocket is a versatile way to gear it quick, this way you can switch back to a stock 16t with the same length chain.
This quick ratio will be even quicker, but have slower top speed with higher freeway cruising rpm's.
For FREEWAY GEARING 16/41t FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER HIGHWAY CRUISING RPM's,
Request a 41t (-2t) rear sprocket during check out in the "Add Message" tab.
This -1t rear sprocket is a minor change that will be slightly faster top speed, and lower your top gear cruising rpm's 250-300 rpm.
OEM GEAR RATIO 16/43t is the DEFAULT for this advertisement.
OEM is the best all around gearing, with the least amount of compromise on low end or top end.
* A 1 tooth change in the front is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear.. but opposite effects.
EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)
EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)
Stock gearing is the factory calculated "happy medium" of both low end acceleration and top end speed.
