Field goals seal winning debut for LA KISS vs. SA Talons!

The Los Angeles KISS came to the Alamodome for their Arena Football League debut Saturday night.

It turned out to be memorable for L.A. and a disappointment for the Talons, as the KISS used two field goals from Kenny Spencer in the final minute for a 41-38 season-opening victory.

Spencer, who had a field-goal attempt blocked at the end of the first half, connected from 21 and 35 yards.

Quarterback J. J. Raterink was 17 of 34 for 166 yards and two touchdowns while running for three scores.

There were plenty of frustrations on the Talons' end
