HIGHER OVERALL OUTPUT , BETTER LOW END OUTPUT. Our HO7011 kit gives you everything you need to upgrade your stock, low amperage Delco-Remy type 10Si series alternator to 105 amps max output. The 4mm thicker stator design gives you extra power at idle, great for slow running classics and tractors. Below you can see the old 105 amp stator on the right with the new, thicker 105 amp stator shown on the left.These alternators were used on GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Jeep, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac vehicles from 1968 all the way until 1986.  This thicker stator is a drop in fit, no need to modify your housing or change out rotor spacers. The HO7011 kit also includes a heavy duty bridge rectifier with 6-50 amp-rated diodes, for a total output rating of 150 amps. Compare that the the stock 25 amp diodes in the stock rectifier, which is only rated for a total output of 75 amps. This kit does better when coupled with a 61 amp rotor compared to a 37 amp rotor. When O.E. changes output, in the same case size, they also may change the rotor. But, the stator has the greatest affect on output at idle.

Stator

Where the POWER is Made.

The other guys underwind stators, giving you lots of output at the high end, but you'll see higher temperatures and lower output at idle. I've even seen high output kits sold WITHOUT A STATOR. If you don't upgrade the stator, you don't upgrade the alternator, PERIOD. We use the thickest stators with the best windings available. This gives you higher idle output without sacrificing peak performance or durability. Our stator is thicker and heavier than the stators used on factory units. This means your alternator will have more copper, higher amperage, and better durability.

Rectifier

Where DURABILITY is Tested.

We also use the beefiest rectifiers that will fit in the case. Stock units use 25-35 Amp rated diodes. We double that to 70 Amp rated diodes. That means our rectifiers are rated at a whopping 210 AMPS!. Some of our competitors will sell you an upgrade kit with a drop wound, high output stator and a STOCK RECTIFIER. Running a 105 Amp or 140 Amp stator with a 75 Amp rectifier is a sure way to burn up your alternator, your time, and your hard-earned money.
