To measure your key resistor value, set your ohmmeter on 20K Ohms, place your measure needles on the metal prong (small metal lines that are placed in the middle of the black resistor), one needle on each side, compare the value you get to the closest one on the chart below and you found your key!
If you know your key VATS value or can measure your working key you can use the chart below and choose only the key you need.

If the value is not matching exactly to none of the values at the chart above clean the pellet and leads and try again if it's still different round it to the nearest number or contact us for help.
If you try to use the wrong VATS key your engine will not start and your vehicle will lock ignition for 5 minutes.
