Pest X Bird Spikes are the ultimate in Pest/Animal control. Pest X Bird Spikes is a polycarbonate device for repelling all types of pest animals, such as medium to large birds eg. Pigeons, Seagulls, Mynas and waterfowl from roosting on parapet walls, windowsills, pipes, RSJs, TV Antennas etc.

Pest X Bird Spikes is also a useful device to prevent possums and cats climbing trees to access the roof of your building. It’s also a very useful product to help prevent dogs and cats from jumping over your fence to either get in or out of your property. It will help to prevent intruders from accessing your property.

The major advantage of this product is its once only initial cost and long-term effects. It is manufactured from polycarbonate, combining the clarity of glass with the toughness of metal. Polycarbonate is UV resistant and will remain stable and does not become brittle like normal plastics.

INSTALLATION

Installation of Pest X Bird Spikes is a simple task; all that is required is a pair of snips and neutral cure silicone. The product is easily cut to size and prior to gluing the product down the surface must be cleaned of all grease, dirt and other debris.

Multiple rows of Pest X Bird Spikes may be required for example to prevent cats and possums from climbing trees, we recommend three rows of Pest X Bird Spikes be screwed or nailed around the girth of the tree.

Each row needs to be approximately 90mm apart. The first row of Pest X Bird Spikes should be fixed approximately 1.8 metres above the ground and it is important to make sure other trees or structures don’t come close to the tree above the Pest X Bird Spikes, as the Possum or cat may use this structure to access the tree above the spikes.

For Bird control on thin ledges, one row of Pest X Bird Spikes is required. For wider ledges and medium size birds rows of Pest X Bird Spikes should be glued at 60mm apart for larger birds such as Pigeons and Seagulls the rows can be glued at 80mm apart.

Pest X Bird Spikes can be glued, cable tied to pipes nailed or screwed. It is recommended before nailing or screwing that pilot holes be drilled into the base of the Pest-X to prevent the product from splitting.

Pest X Ledge

On thin ledges one row is all that is needed. On wide ledges glue Pest-X Bird Spikes in rows 60mm apart for medium sized birds. Glue Pest-X Bird Spikes in rows 80mm apart for large birds, pigeons and seagulls. Alternatively Bird-B-Gone Polycarbonate Bird Spikes can be used for wide ledges.

Stops cats & possums from climbing up trees. Install Pest-X Bird Spikes 1.8 metres from the ground. Minimum of 3 rows are needed 90mm apart.

Do we ship overseas?
Unfortunately, we do not ship items outside of Australia at this point in time.

How long will delivery take?
Allow 2-5 business days for delivery depending upon where you are located in Australia. Please note this is just an estimate and we can not be held responsible for delays with Couriers or Australia Post once the package is out of our hands.

What courier do you use?
We use a courier of our choice for most parcels. We may also use Australia Post only if the parcel is small enough to fit into a 500g satchel or envelope and not considered dangerous goods.

Can you deliver to my work address?
Yes, we can deliver to your place of work. Please ensure to include the Business Name in the shipping of your order so the delivery driver can find you easily.

Can I pick up my item from you?
Yes, we offer local pick up. The pick up location is CARINGBAH NSW 2229 (Monday to Friday ONLY). Please call us or email after your purchase to arrange a suitable time.

RETURNS FAQ

Do you accept returns?
We will accept returns for faulty or damaged items. We do not refund for change of mind purchases. We will not refund the Delivery Fee where the products have been delivered to you.

What if a product is damaged on delivery?
You must check any products delivered to you to determine if it is damaged. If a product is damaged on delivery, then you should refuse to take receipt of that product and email us. If you notice damage to a product after delivery, or if it has been incorrectly shipped, you should notify us as soon as possible. Upon return of faulty goods, our returns department will assess and forward on to the manufacturer. If the item is being repaired, we will inform by email the estimated date of completion. The repaired item will then be posted back to you free of charge. If the item is being refunded, we will process this as usual, ensuring to have your refund as quickly as possible after assessment.

How will my refund be processed?
Method of refund will be in the same format as payment was made. (eg credit card, paypal etc)
