On her 12th birthday, Deb received her first set of oil paints.  The kitchen table, in a farm home near Hutchinson, Minnesota, served as her easel.  Needless to say, over the years as her passion for painting grew, a conflict of interests developed over the usage of "studio space".  Later in life the problem of studio space was solved as she created a beautiful studio in Victoria, Minnesota.

This particular painting was created immediately following a vacation in the British Virgin Islands, where she lived on a sailboat.  "I could still feel the powerful sea beneath me and the feel the wind fill the sails as my painting developed."  Photographs taken in Great Harbor, at the British Island Jost Van Dyke, served as memory joggers and source material.

The original painting hangs in her studio at a size of 30" x 40".  She created 980 signed and numbered professional lithographs along with 20 Artist Proofs.  The full lithograph measures 19" x 24" and the litho measures 14" x 18 1/2".

This is a an excellent gift for all sailing enthusiasts.  The lithograph will be mailed via USPS mailing tube.
