These 0805 SMD cool white LEDs run at 450 mcd with a diffused lens — bright enough to stand out, smooth enough to look clean — making them a natural fit for mechanical keyboard backlighting, scale model interiors, and instrument cluster repairs where pure white illumination matters.
Each LED operates at 3.0–3.2V forward voltage at 20mA, with a 120° viewing angle and a diffused lens for wide, even light spread. The 0805 package (2.0mm × 1.25mm) is the most forgiving SMD footprint for hand-soldering — larger pads than 0603, easy to work with under magnification. No wavelength designation applies to white LEDs; color is determined by phosphor conversion from the blue die.

Wiring & power notes
DC power recommended: LEDs are designed for DC. Running on AC will cause flickering and reduce lifespan. If using a low-voltage AC source (model railroad transformer, DCC track voltage), convert it to DC with a MB1S bridge rectifier plus a 100µF 50V electrolytic capacitor for clean, ripple-free output.
