This original high quality plate is a add on to a existing closure plate. If you have a closure plate that is only sealed by fire cement around the flue, there is a good chance that the fire cement will crack and break away from the flue, this is due to the expansion and contraction of the flue when hot and cold. With the sealing collar, the heat resistant rope takes up this movement, so will give a long lasting seal, and prevent fume leakage. The size of the plate is 12" x 12" and the Stainless Steel collar is larger than the flue pipe, so will allow the pipe to pass through the collar and heat resistant rope inserted around the flue to seal and support. It's unique design stops the rope from falling out, and stops extreme heat propagation past the collar. Includes 8 self drilling screws for fixing to your existing plate, and heat resistant rope, then sprayed black with a high quality stove spray. Please view our other plates for sale.
