Made from a top quality 12mm diameter double braid polyester rope. Resistant to all weather elements. This rope will not rot or go hard and has superb handling properties. Very strong yet lovely to handle.

The slobber straps are English made from a quality tanned leather. Unlike most slobber straps on offer these are cut to a special pattern and have stitching around the outer edge. Please note these are currently not available with the logo as on the photo. As an alternative you can have them plain or with metal conchos. For conchos choose from star, horseshoe, or running horse. (If choosing the horse one will face forwards and one backwards) I Please state your choice when paying or I will assume you want them plain. The popper is now dark brown and not black as on the photo. Like all good quality leather they should last for years. Each slobber strap is almost 9 inches in length when doubled.

The rope is 22 foot long and the slobber straps are positioned so that you have a 9ft length of rein (plus slobber straps) and a 12ft line. The second slobber strap can be moved up and down the length of rope to give you a longer or shorter rein length.

If you wish you can remove both slobber straps, tie the line to a halter and use it as a 22ft training line or mecate reins
