This adorable bag comes from the Orissa state co-op in Bhubaneswar, India, which helps support rural women by selling their handicrafts.

The colorful bag is cotton and the applique work is all done by hand.  It has animals, butterflies, birds, fish swimming ponds, trees, grass, the sun, fences, and houses on both sides as pictured below.  It measures about 13 1/2 inches high by 14 inches wide with a zipper closure and one zipper pocket inside. The straps are about 14 inches.
