Vintage 1999 Christopher Radko “Petite Vintage Emerald Santa” blown-glass Christmas ornament, model 99-988-0. This retired design features Father Christmas dressed in an elaborate emerald-green robe accented with gold glitter stripes and ornate brown-and-gold trim. Santa has a flowing silver-white beard and carries a black lantern, with a large metallic burgundy sack filled with colorful gifts over his shoulder. Beautiful hand-painted details include his expressive face, glittered trim, richly colored clothing, and snowy base. Approximately 4 inches tall, this is the petite version of the Vintage Emerald Santa design, not the larger 7-inch ornament. The underside bears a handwritten “CR 00” marking, as shown in the photographs. Gold-tone hanging cap and metal loop are attached.
