Vintage Mexican Folk Art Clay Elephant Figurine Painted Terracotta Pottery 7"

This vintage Mexican folk art elephant figurine is handcrafted from authentic red terracotta clay. The textured, earthy body contrasts beautifully with the vibrantly hand-painted festive saddle blanket, which features traditional floral and star motifs. The craftsmanship is excellent in this unsigned piece, characteristic of indigenous Mexican artisans.

Overall very good condition. There is one small chip on the bottom of the base, which is not visible when the figurine is placed on a flat surface. No other cracks, scratches, or structural repairs.
