Vintage Marillion 'Fugazi' (1984) Original UK First Pressing Vinyl LP Picture Disc – Housed in an Aluminium Art Frame
Item Description:
A fantastic collector’s piece for any progressive rock fan or vinyl enthusiast. This is an original 1984 UK pressing of Marillion's landmark second album, Fugazi, released on the EMI label (Catalog: EMCP 24 0085 0).
This highly collectible picture disc features the striking, surrealist artwork of Mark Wilkinson, beautifully showcasing "The Jester" in vivid detail.
The vinyl disc has been expertly mounted and presented in a high-quality aluminium frame designed specifically to hang on your wall as a true work of art. The record is set against a premium deep blue accent mat board, perfectly complementing the cool tones of the album art.
Dimensions:
- Frame Size: 37 cm x 37 cm
Condition Details:
- Vinyl (Visual): The facing side of the picture disc shows some natural age-related chemical discoloration (a slight amber/yellow tinting over the lighter cream and gray segments of the artwork), which is very common for 1980s PVC picture discs that have been displayed. The verso (reverse side, hidden in the mount) remains bright and unaffected by this surface aging, showing the contrast in coloration.
- Frame & Mount: The aluminum frame and custom matting are in great structural condition, sturdy and ready to display immediately in a music room or gallery wall. Minor light storage surface wear on the metal edges may be present consistent with age.
A stunning piece of neo-prog music history that bridges classic rock memorabilia with modern interior design.
Will be packed with extreme care using heavy-duty bubble wrap and a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. Please review all high-resolution photos to inspect the exact framing and visual condition.
