CONDITION

Vinyl: G / G+

The record has clearly been played and shows numerous surface marks, scuffs and scratches. It is not a high-grade copy.

I have play-tested selected sections of both sides. The record plays through the sections tested without problems, but there is audible surface noise/crackle throughout. In some places the crackle becomes more pronounced, with occasional louder clicks/pops. On one side, I also noticed a short section with a recurring “swooshing” or swishing surface noise. I have not determined what causes this, but it was clearly audible during my play-test.

Please note that I have not listened to the complete LP from beginning to end, so I cannot guarantee that there are no additional audible defects elsewhere on the record. No skips were encountered during the sections tested.

Sleeve: G / G+

Original laminated sleeve. The sleeve shows substantial age and storage wear, including edge and corner wear, creasing, discolouration/age staining and general surface wear. There is also an area of paper loss/damage on the upper right of the front cover. The spine/edges show considerable wear.

Despite the wear, the sleeve remains complete and presents reasonably well for its age. Please see all photographs, which form an important part of the condition description.

Labels:
The original pink Island labels are generally well preserved. There is some spindle/handling wear and writing/marking visible on the Side B label area.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE

This is a rare 1967 record, but it is being sold as a well-used collector’s copy, not as an audiophile or high-grade example. The grading is deliberately conservative. Please expect surface noise consistent with the condition described above.

The photographs show the actual record and sleeve offered for sale. Please examine them carefully before bidding/buying.

Record will be securely packed for shipping.
