Lot of 36 vintage 3D stereographic slides depicting a back country elk hunt that my father participated in, circa 1965. This hunt took place in Wyoming on lands bordering the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. Images include shots of the camp, horses, guides, meat processing, and scenery - even a bonus shot of a moose cow and her twin calves.

These photos were taken by my father, Jack D. Barkus, an award-winning professional photographer, while he was on the hunt.

Please note: listing photos may have shadows/fuzziness as the pictures had to be taken through the eyepiece of a Stereo Realist viewer. Stereo slides must be viewed through such a viewer to achieve the special 3D image that is characteristic of stereoscopic photography. The actual photos do not have shadows and/or focus issues.

From a non-smoking home. Check out my other listings for more of my father's slides and stereo slides.
