A Touring-Bodied 2600 Spider

This 1964 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider is a 106 Series example finished in red over black upholstery. Approximately 2,255 Touring-bodied 2600 Spiders were produced between 1962 and 1965. Power comes from a rebuilt 2.6-liter DOHC inline-six equipped with triple Solex PHH carburetors and rated at 145 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Exterior details include a black soft top, front driving lights, a hood scoop, a driver-side mirror, a retractable antenna, and Touring hood and fender badges.

The car rides on powder-coated Fergat steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and 185R400 Michelin X radial tires, with a matching spare stowed beneath the trunk floor. Braking is handled by four-wheel disc brakes, and a replacement master cylinder and parking brake cables were installed in 2023. The cockpit features low-back bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black upholstery, gray carpets, a central locking glovebox, a heater, front lap belts, and Alfa Romeo/Touring-branded floor mats. Veglia instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The engine was rebuilt in 2009 with replacement bearings, piston rings, and valve guides. Service records are included.
