Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic pair of Mid-Century modern French studio art porcelain wall-hanging masks. Manufactured by the historic Porcelaine de Yvré-l'Évêque in France, both pieces proudly bear the factory's signature "PY" crown crest stamp on the reverse side.

Believed to be a collaboration between studios and artists, including Camille Nado of Paris and noted artist Paul Ysart of Scotland based on the signatures on the reverse.

These masks feature a striking, high-relief geometric mosaic pattern detailed with rich emerald green glazes and heavily accented with brilliant, gleaming gold leaf gilding over a glossy taupe enamel base. The set consists of two contrasting yet perfectly complementary designs: one featuring a stunning sunburst or feathered plume crown, and the other depicting a horned, pan-like mythical tribal deity.

As mentioned, the reverse sides retain exceptional provenance, including vintage gallery or dealer hand-written tags referencing "Camille Nadeau Paris" and "Paul Ysart", adding unique collectible interest.
