Up for sale is INVADERS NOW! #1 — Marvel Comics / Dynamite Entertainment co-publication, November 2010, $3.99 cover price, Direct Edition, Rated T+. #1 of a 5-issue miniseries.

This is the ADI GRANOV 1:50 INCENTIVE VARIANT cover (UPC 759606067749 00141) — Granov's painted cover of the reunited Invaders, with his monogram at the lower-left: Steve Rogers standing tall, Bucky Barnes as Captain America with the shield, Namor, and the flaming figures of the original Human Torch and Toro behind them. One copy for every 50 copies of the regular edition retailers ordered — the scarcest of the issue's full-color covers.

Story by Alex Ross & Christos Gage, written by Christos Gage, pencils by Caio Reis. The greatest super heroes of World War II blaze into action — this time in the modern world! For the first time in decades, the original Invaders are alive and active at the same time: Captain America, the Sub-Mariner, the original Human Torch and Toro, the Golden Age Vision, Spitfire, Union Jack — and Steve Rogers. But what mysterious force has drawn them all together… and how does it relate to the darkest moment in Invaders history, an event so horrifying it threatens all life on Earth today?

No first appearances — the value here is the 1:50 Granov variant itself. Back cover is a period Mazda ad. Front, back, and all corners pictured.

CONDITION: Photo grade NM- 9.2. Sharp corners, strong gloss, clean covers front and back.
