1970s two-piece bridal peignoir set by Iris Lingerie, designed by Bert Yellin. Includes a full-length sleeveless nightgown and a matching long-sleeve dressing gown. Crafted in liquid crepe satin that mimics the fluid drape and of silk without the delicate maintenance. Both pieces feature an intricate nude-pink scalloped floral embroidered yoke framed in delicate lace, with satin ribbon threaded through the neckline channel. The robe has a dramatic wide portrait collar, side hook-and-eye closure, and an un-looped matching satin waist sash. A small fabric abrasion is present on the back of the gown; set is otherwise in excellent vintage condition with vibrant embroidery and clean seams throughout.
