A complete electric infrared heating kit for one room: 2 x PowerBoard 750W far infrared panels and 1 x hardwired smart Wi-Fi room thermostat (16A) with app and voice control. Ideal for living rooms, larger bedrooms and kitchen-diners. Most heaters on eBay have the thermostat built into the panel, where it sits in the heat. Ours is a separate wall thermostat, so it reads the room, not the panel.

How many do you need?
Measure the room and multiply length by width to get the floor area in m². This kit (1,500W) heats about:
- 18.5 to 25 m² in a modern, insulated home
- 15 to 18.5 m² in an older home with some insulation
- 11.5 to 15 m² with solid walls and little insulation
To work it out yourself: floor area x 60 to 80 W per m² (modern), 80 to 100 (older) or 100 to 130 (solid walls), then divide by 750 and round up to get the number of 750W panels.
Example: a 4 x 4m bedroom in an older home is 16 m² x 90 = 1,440W, so two 750W panels.
Ceilings above 2.5m need about 3% more for every extra 10cm, up to 3.5m.

Installation and safety
- Must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
- Isolate the electrical supply before installing, cleaning or maintaining the heater
- Do not cover the heater or hang anything from it
- Do not use the heater if the panel or any cable is damaged
- The panel surface gets hot during use
- Clean with a dry cloth only, with the power off
Delivery, returns and recycling
Delivery: free UK delivery, dispatched within 2 working days.
Returns: accepted within 30 days. Faulty or damaged on arrival? Message us and we will collect it free and repair, replace or refund it.
Recycling your old heater: when you buy a heater from us, we will take back one old electric heater of any make, free of charge. Message us through eBay within 28 days of delivery and we will arrange it.
