This is a new engine oil filter element.  It is the original style element that fits on sveral of the early engines.  I will list the years & applications below.

1948-53 Pickup - 239 8 cyl
1950-53 Pickup - 254 6 cyl
1948-51 Pickup - 226 6 cyl
1948-51 Pickup - 337 8 cyl

Note:  Ebays compatability form doesn't list the 254 or 337 engines so it is not on the compatability listing.  They have a few holes in their compatability chart system.
