For bid is an original set of SIX 1910’s era photographs of young men in San Rafael, Marin County, California: the MT. TAMALPAIS MILITARY ACADEMY! Three photos of young men marching in 1910’s military uniforms. Two appear to be on the academy campus. Third marching on a windy road along the side of Mount Tamalpais overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The other three are track and field photos: Team and two competition / sports photos. The team photo shows the young men in their MTMA uniforms.

This school later changed its name to San Rafael Military Academy. This school closed in 1971.

All these photos are glued to a torn and chipped album paper sheet. Photos are nice but the album sheet is a MESS!

Fun history!
