Up for sale is an incredibly rare, Holy Grail piece of old-school BMX history: an original New Old Stock (NOS) Mid-1980s Skyway Freestyle Platform conversion kit, completely brand new and sealed in its original factory packaging. You do not see these pop up on eBay anymore—especially not still attached to the factory card. This kit converts a single top tube BMX frame into a "Triple Top Tube" freestyle frame, complete with a unique integrated kicktail. Condition Details & Total Transparency: • Vacuum Seal Status: The factory clear plastic is a heavy-duty vacuum wrap / vacuum seal. This vacuum seal has absolutely NOT been broken or compromised, and it has never been opened. The platform, brackets, and hardware remain completely enclosed, untouched, and fully sealed under the original factory plastic layer. • Hardware Finish: The chrome finish on the main 4130 chromoly tube and the finish on the aluminum brackets are in pristine, unused vintage condition. The metal is completely clean and has never been exposed or handled. • Backing Card Condition: The original cardboard card retains its vibrant red and blue graphics. In the spirit of total transparency, the cardboard shows authentic vintage shelf-wear from decades of storage. The card is a little bent up, shows light edge fraying, and minor corner tip softening. Additionally, as shown in the side-profile photos, the cardboard backing layer has split and peeled back away from the vacuum-sealed plastic layer along the upper curved edge. However, the vacuum wrap itself is completely intact, holding everything firmly in place. • Important Buyer Note: Everything is fully intact and original. Please make sure to study all the provided high-resolution photos closely to check out these exact packaging and edge details for yourself before purchasing. This is an exceptional survivor piece for a high-end vintage Skyway museum build or a standalone display piece. It is being sold exactly as-is, untouched in its factory vacuum wrap, any? msg me thank you for looking.
