Royal Worcester A Skippety Tale king size egg coddler, rabbit & hedgehog, 1970s.

A king size Royal Worcester porcelain egg coddler in the "A Skippety Tale" pattern, decorated all round with a grey rabbit holding a carrot, a hedgehog, a mouse on an apple, a butterfly and wildflowers. It has the original chrome screw lid with ring handle. 10cm tall. Works just as well as a little pot on a kitchen windowsill or dressing table.

Royal Worcester has made egg coddlers since the 1890s, and collectors now hunt down the many patterns made over the years.

Good condition with minor wear, no chips or cracks.

Made in England, c.1970s-80s. A charming cottagecore or burrowcore piece.
