ITEM DESCRIPTION
My stock ref: #GT/June26q500ty in cabinet #U9
This is a very nice Victorian rosewood tea caddy which has brass mounts. The mount on the back of the lid is MISSING. The mount on the back of the box near the bottom is loose.
It has a brass lock but the key is MISSING. A single fine brass knob on the lid to hinge it open. 2 good substantial hinges which are original and have no issues here.
Under the lid and interior has silvery metal coating and paint too. This will need some TLC.
Box edges and corners are rubbed and knocked but overall a very nice antique box.
You could put anything you want in it these days of course.
It is Square section and is 7 inch square base x 7 and 3/4 inch tall. Its an extra 1/2 inch with the brass fine knob stuck up. It weighs approx. 1.8 kilos.

Postage policies:
International overseas buyers please read this first - I use Global Shipping Program - GSP to send items to you.
GSP sorts any paperwork etc. which enables items to get through customs much faster than other delivery company.
GSP then decide on the cost of shipping, sales tax, and possible other charges etc. - All this information can found on the listing BEFORE bidding or buying.
I have no control over the prices that GSP set.
The shipping time is usually very quick but as you can appreciate there may be delays for any number of reasons which are out of both mine and your control. Thank you.
14 day REFUND policy with antique and second hand goods. NOT 30 DAYS.
If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F for " as found " for 50 years.
To be fair to all bidders I do NOT end auctions early, so please do not ask for a buy it now on an auction item.
