**Condition Report:**
Beautiful antique condition. The front face is bright and clean with crisp engraving lines. All three seed pearls are firmly secured in their settings and show an attractive soft luster. The pin mechanism on the reverse is fully intact, functional, and straight.
The Reverse Construction: Look closely at the back photo. Notice how the middle section is a brighter yellow-brass color, while the edges show a different layer? This is a textbook "gold-front" or gold-shelled pin, meaning a thick sheet of real gold was mechanically fused over a stronger brass base backplate. The base metal pin stem and standard C-clasp are also correct for the late 1800s.
