5H HARD CLEAR IN A CAN: DiamondFinish Clear Aerosol is a fast drying acrylic modified alkyd clear coat. It reaches 5H pencil hardness (ASTM D 3363) after 5 days and stays flexible, so it does not crack on parts that flex or vibrate. No mixing, no hardener, no spray gun. | SPRAYS DIRECT TO METAL: No primer needed on steel or aluminum. It also goes over fully cured paint, basecoats, gelcoat and rusted metal you want to keep as a patina. Over another aerosol paint, wait at least 3 days and scuff test a small spot first. | RATED TO 250°F: No yellowing up to 250°F on brake calipers, valve covers and engine brackets, and UV stable outdoors. Once cured it resists most solvents and oils. Not for brake rotors or constant fuel contact. | UP TO 35 SQ FT PER CAN: Each can covers up to 35 sq ft per 1 mil coat. Dust free in 3 to 6 minutes, dry to handle in 20 to 40 minutes, full cure within 48 hours.
