Incredible children’s 2 piece set from the Victorian era, fantastic for display, a cute Dickensian festival or even an authentic Victorian doll dress.

I’m not an expert on children’s clothing but my guess is around 1840s-60s please let me know if you know!

It is vibrant red fine wool. the dress lined in cotton and the cape lined in silk. The fringe and ribbon soutache also feels like silk hand gathered pleats on the skirt

I can’t see any machine sewing so may well be the earlier end of the century

Condition- I have not tried to clean. As found. Please examine photos. Several holes. Some discolouration. Overall amazing for age!
