Vintage 80s L.L. Bean book pack! I’ve searched through old catalog images to figure this one out. My best guess dates this bag to 1986-1987 based on size, tag info, and design elements. Before Bean made those fantastic giant backpacks this is what they thought school kids would use for a bag: a little 13” book pack.

Not a lot of these have come up for sale; if you’re looking for the vintage Gorpcore you can’t do better.

The condition is fantastic. The interiors of the pocket s and bag, the straps and bag exterior appear unused. The only condition issue to note is some wear to the reflective strip.
