Up for auction is a magnificent piece of British writing history: a vintage Parker Slimfold Fountain Pen in classic glossy black, manufactured in Newhaven, England.

This particular set is a true survivor, complete with its original red-lined Parker presentation case and the original instructional booklet explicitly dated July 1968.

• Original Factory Chalk Marks: The water-soluble factory chalk text ("SLIMFOLD M") on the barrel is there but rubbed . This is a rare find, as these marks usually rub off instantly upon handling, proving this pen has lived a protected life in its box.

• 14K Gold Nib: Fitted with a genuine British-made Parker 14ct gold nib in a smooth Medium (M) writing grade, as confirmed by both the feed stamp and the chalk marking.
