Antique early 20th century Arts & Crafts style Cupboard in oak, a well-proportioned and compact piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and handsome figured timber.

A pair of panelled doors opens to a cupboard divided into two compartments by a central upright, with two long drawers below, all fitted with decorative pressed metal Celtic knot drop handles.

Each door is set with a shaped quatrefoil panel of floral marquetry inlay with a bright flowerhead centre. The top has a moulded edge and a low shaped upstand to the back, and the cupboard stands on square legs.

The oak displays a stunning quarter-sawn figured grain with bold medullary rays and a warm, rich colour with a lovely mellow patina.

Presented in good condition commensurate with age. A very desirable and practical oak cabinet, a perfect addition to any hallway, dining room, living room or bedroom.
