You chose your artwork carefully. Caring for your tattooed skin deserves a place in your routine too. HUKED Tattoo Aftercare Balm helps soften dry-feeling skin and leaves it feeling smooth and moisturised.

Our rich, water-free balm combines oils, butters and beeswax with calendula oil and ylang ylang, lavender and tea tree essential oils. Warm a small amount between your fingertips and smooth a thin layer over intact, healed tattooed skin.

Water-free, thoughtfully made

This is a balm rather than a water-based lotion. Its rich texture softens as you warm it between your fingertips, making it easy to apply a small amount. Water-free describes the formula; it does not replace proper tattoo cleansing and aftercare.

What is inside?

Our standard universal base: shea butter, coconut oil, batana oil, palm kernel oil, palm oil, beeswax, tallow and lard.

Also added: calendula oil, ylang ylang essential oil, lavender essential oil and tea tree essential oil.

Please note: this standard formulation contains animal-derived ingredients and is not vegan. It contains essential oils and is not fragrance-free.

How to use

  1. Wash and dry your hands before handling the balm.
  2. Take a small amount with clean fingertips or a clean spatula.
  3. Warm gently between your fingertips.
  4. Smooth a thin layer onto intact, healed tattooed skin. Follow the directions on your product label.
Have a fresh tattoo? Follow your tattoo artist’s aftercare instructions. Do not apply this fragranced balm to broken, weeping or unhealed skin unless its suitability for that use has been confirmed.
