Vintage style flower curtain tie backs x4, 2 pairs, French country rosette hooks.

Two pairs of curtain tie back hooks, four in total - a soft dusky pink pair with deep aubergine flower heads, and a cream pair with warm bronze petals and a red centre, in a pretty French country rosette style. Each has a fluted column shaft moulded with acanthus leaves and a fixing point at the end to screw straight to the wall. 19cm from fixing to tip.

Acanthus leaf decoration has graced columns and mouldings since ancient Greece, said to be inspired by leaves growing around a basket left on a grave.

Good condition, minor wear only, with a lovely time-worn painted finish.

A quick, easy way to give curtains a cottagecore or French country finish.
