I bought this second hand a while back with the intention of having a vinyl setup in a small space, but never got around to it.
I’ve tried it with 45RPM singles and 33RPM albums, both seem to play fine. It’s got a 78RPM setting but I haven’t got anything to try on that - it does spin faster though!
Unfortunately when I purchased it the tonearm securing clip was broken and the tonearm came loose in transit, letting the stylus scratch the top plate (shown in photos). I installed a new upgraded stylus on it, which comes with a guard which slides on/off to protect it and the top plate.
I couldn’t replace the original tone arm clip, so we came up with an elastic band method which loops around the tonearm and tonearm mount and securely holds it in place. Seems to hold it very steady. I’ll include a couple of spare bands just in case this one pings off and gets lost!
No power supply came with it, so I just used it on batteries. PSU can be picked up online though if needed.
Original 45RPM adapter included, the felt slip mat and additional felt pads on the top look in very good condition. Headphone socket works, I’ve tried with some Sony headphones and wired up to a Minirig speaker to give it some real oomph!
Pickup welcome from Bath, or I have plenty of bubble wrap and a box to pack in.
Video shows and album and a single working, along with volume, pitch and tone controls. Records are not included.
