Interchangeable Focusing Screen System
The Nikon F4 accepts a series of interchangeable focusing screens, letting photographers match the viewfinder's focusing aid to their preferred technique.

Type K Screen Design
The Type K screen centers a 3mm BriteView split-image rangefinder spot surrounded by a 1mm-wide microprism doughnut, set in a matte/Fresnel field. This split-image-plus-microprism combination gives two focus-confirmation cues in one screen, suited to photographers who rely on manual focus verification.

Upgrade Option Over the Factory Standard
Nikon shipped the F4 with the plain Type B screen as standard; Type K was offered as the rangefinder-style alternative for those wanting active split-image/microprism focus confirmation rather than a bare matte field.

Compatibility
Type K screens are designed specifically for the Nikon F4 body (F4, F4S, F4E variants), installed via the removable pentaprism finder assembly, and are not interchangeable with focusing screens designed for other Nikon F-series bodies such as the F3 or F5.

Shipment will be arranged from Monday to Friday (Japan time).
The shipping fee is based on standard shipping zone set of each courier company.
If the delivery address is in a remote area, an additional charge may be applied by the courier.
